Our models
With an automatic transmission, Park Pilot and reversing camera, our 2 VW California camper models are very easy to drive. And their compact dimensions mean they can be driven with your passenger vehicle driving licence.
They sleep from four to five people depending on the model. A parking heater, air conditioning, mosquito protection and technical interfaces for USB, Apple and Android devices offer maximum convenience. You can find all the details about our camper models in the PDF overview.
The California Ocean
This model impresses with four seats, full kitchen, extensive cupboards, bed extension with lounge function, pop-up top and comfortable plate springs in the upstairs bed and a parking heater.
The ideal base camp - With an additional integrated kitchen (incl. refrigerator, sink, gas hob, fresh and wastewater tanks), the VW California 6.1 Ocean Liberty is the slightly more luxurious variant. It offers a maximum of four sleeping berths.
The California Beach
This camper van impresses with seven seats and max. 5 berths, fold out bed extension, pop-up roof and comfortable plate springs in the upstairs bed and a parking heater.
The all-rounder - With its pop-up roof, the VW California 6.1 Beach offers sleeping berths for up to five people on two levels. An awning, camping table and chairs come as standard. There is also an optional mobile gas grill and bike rack.

Wild camping in Switzerland
Overnight stays in campervans outside official parking spaces or campsites are generally not permitted in Switzerland. The rules are strict in order to protect nature, animals and the landscape.
What applies to campers?
- Prohibited
Wild camping in national parks, nature reserves, wildlife sanctuaries, hunting reserves and biotopes of national importance.
- Cantonal regulations
Many cantons and municipalities have additional restrictions – be sure to check in advance.
- Parking ≠ camping
Even if the vehicle is parked in a car park, setting up camping furniture, barbecuing or spending the night is often considered camping and is prohibited.
- Alternative
Use official parking spaces or campsites – they offer comfort and are legally safe.
