How long will it take to get my vehicle?

Provided the vehicle you want is available, you can book it today and be behind the wheel tomorrow.

Which vehicles can I choose from?

FitRent long-term rental contracts are available for almost every vehicle in our fleet, which currently includes around 5,500 cars and commercial vehicles.

From Economy class and Premium vehicles to commercial vehicles, you’ll always find the right model for you from our extensive fleet.

How old will my rental car be?

Our fleet is made up of the latest, most cutting-edge models equipped with top-of-the-range features and functions. The average age of our vehicles is less than 6 months.

Can I switch to another vehicle during my rental period?

Once you have completed the minimum 30-day rental period, you are welcome to return your vehicle and switch it for another car in the same category.

What type of insurance is included?

Our rental rates include third party insurance, partial coverage and extensive coverage. Depending on the model in question, the excess ranges from CHF 1,000 to CHF 1,500 in the event of damage. On request, this can be reduced to a minimum of CHF 300 during your rental term for an additional fee.

Are there any additional costs?

FitRent is an all-inclusive package.

Our rental rates include all costs for renting the vehicle, including 3,300 free kilometres per month, insurance, vehicle tax, registration fees and a Swiss motorway sticker. As a hassle-free universal package, the price also includes everything needed to make sure your vehicle runs smoothly. This includes servicing, maintenance and any vehicle repairs, plus a 24-hour breakdown service and summer/winter tyres.

During your rental period, you can also add individual optional services for your vehicle at an extra cost. For instance, you can reduce the insurance excess if necessary. All these prices are visible during the booking, meaning that you enjoy full cost transparency at all times.

How do I pay?

After registering as a corporate customer, you will pay for your vehicles by credit card as standard. Once you have made your booking, the outstanding payment will be pre-authorised on your credit card and the amount will be deducted automatically after 30 days. No down payments are required. You will also receive your invoice automatically after 30 days.

On request, corporate customers also have the option to pay on invoice. To do this, simply apply for a Europcar business account.

Can I still collect Privilege bonus miles with FitRent?

We will always assign all FitRent contracts to your Privilege bonus miles account so that you can also benefit from our attractive loyalty programme.

What is the minimum rental period?

From a minimum rental period of just 30 days, you automatically benefit from our attractive FitRent tariffs as a registered business customer.

Can I end my rental agreement early?

Once you have completed the minimum 30-day rental period, you can return your vehicle at any time, free of charge. We calculate your rental tariff based on the actual rental period. As a result, you can continue to benefit from our attractive FitRent tariffs.

Who is allowed to drive a FitRent car?

One or more extra drivers are included in your FitRent price. Simply register extra drivers when you pick up your vehicle.

Can you drop off my vehicle and pick it up again?

As a professional rental car company, we offer a wide range of additional services to our corporate customers. We will be happy to let you know how much it will cost for your selected rental office to drop off and/or collect your rental car from your business address.

I need a rental car for more than 3 months

It goes without saying that FitRent is also available for extended periods. Due to our procedures, we will have to renew your rental agreement after 90 days. The favourable conditions available for 90-day rentals will continue to apply.
